Center for Teaching: Welcome

Mission Statement

The Center for Teaching (CFT) was established in 1987 as a vehicle to promote teaching excellence through the sharing of ideas, the interaction of faculty members on each campus, and the creation of coordinated professional development opportunities for the Connecticut College system. Each community college in Connecticut has a Teaching and Learning Consultant (TLC), a member of the faculty who is also responsible for coordinating these efforts on his/her campus.
