College Info: Tutoring

Due to COVID-19 restrictions we have limited the number of students we are scheduling for the placement test.

• To schedule an appointment for the placement test please call 203-285-2217 or 203-285-2519. In lieu of taking the placement test Gateway will determine your English and math course placement based upon your transcript containing your cumulative GPA (grade point average) and your SAT scores. Kindly upload a copy of your most recent transcript and SAT test scores ASAP to admissions@gatewayct.edu. Be sure to include your Banner Student ID number or your application G00 tracking number within your upload email message. We will then update your student record and advise you of your next steps by email at a later date.

• Invitation for either WebEx or Teams video conference will be sent to you by your tutor at your scheduled time. - NOTE: These are LIVE sessions with a tutor and due to the limited amount of tutoring hours available, a missed appointment cannot be made up.
